I actually agree with TRD. What happened last year, good or bad, catch or drop, does not matter. Just like Armanti gets a new chance for success with the new regime, other have chances at failure.

If Lafell is struggling with the new offense, and not playing up to expectations then it is on his shoulders. He is open for criticism as anyone else.

Now, I am not going to say "he can't catch" or he sucks, but I will say, there is a new sheriff in town, and if you arn;t a proven commodity such as Smitty, Beason, or Gross, then you are being evaluated for worth.

only WRs I feel confident will make this team right now are Smitty, Gettis, and Edwards (surprsingly enough). I think days like today show the absurd potential he has .

Edwards is not better than LaFell.

I've heard all that noise about how AE has looked in TC. Edwards is playing in a controlled environment where there is no pressure on him. He is gaurenteed to make the roster the next two years based entirely on the price that Hurney paid to acquire him.

Wallace Wright, special teams ace? News to me. How many snaps did he play LY?

David Clowney....I like him, but he'll probably be cut and then resign with the Jets. I hope he makes the team though. Hopefully they can sneak Pilares on the PS, and keep Clowney active.

Edwards is really a wildcard as we don't know how good/bad he is.....

I think he has more potential than LaFell to do more things.

You never said it, but the way you act that LaFell has made this team when he hasn't done squat in camp and these guys are outperforming him implies that you think it's a given he gets the job, regardless of camp.

Rivera is already on record saying they haven't impressed so I wouldn't be so sure that he's ahead of the other guys. Clowney had a great scrimmage and some good last few days. Armanti has been tearing it up all camp, plus the WC, plus ST, he should be a lock.

Why should I not buy into Armanti because he's in a controlled environment? What does that even mean? Is he playing on a field by himself without defenders? Is no one guarding him? Why is his situation different than LaFell's?

Wallace Wright was on IR last year or he would have been on the team. He's an excellent gunner.

not a fanboy.....we legimately know nothing about him after last season. The potential is there.

about lafell, he has been hurt but he has 16 games worth of tape from last season as well. Whether that hurts or helps him, it only matters to RR.

It's everyone's crutch because they know they cannot talk football.

They blame Moore and Clausen for drops when drops are only recorded on good throws.

They fail to acknowledge that LaFell has been dusted by a late round flier in Gettis, a division 2 (Yes, it's division two, barely above Juco) QB in Armanti, a speedster from Hawaii also with questions about his hands in LN, and Clowney.

You guys are right, watch out defensive coordinators, Dat Deal is coming to an endzone near you.

He's likely to be on the roster because Marty wasted another pick on him but he doesn't bring anything NFL worthy to the table. Wallace Wright is a special teams ace and should be kept for that reason.
