Gamble is really starting to piss me off.

He didn't LOOK sick at FanFest--throwing passes with Hogan. However, it is not like this Panther staff to lie about a player--I don't think. They have been honest IMO.

Fox would have told us he had an infected ovary.

Gamble, to be clear, had a stomach virus, as reported by team officials for some time now. Seems to this reporter to be a very bad virus.

OL Geoff Schwartz held out tonight. Looked like 1 of the players who was bothered by the heat Sat.

It's surprising to me how people get so caught up in who is starting over who. I thought it was common knowledge the coaches switch players around during the offseason to see who fits where.

Yeah, it is. I guess we are interested in seeing which Fox players are RR players, fit the system, etc.

For example, at backup LG, 77 Bell was getting reps at Fan Fest and 61, a 295 lb.center, was at RG. Sdwartz was at LG when he played and Bernadeau, a player who struggled on film at RG last year and succeeded when he moved to LG when Wharton hurt his toe. Now he is at RG again. It is like they flipped the RG and LGs around. I am trying to figure it out. They have not done that with Wharton on the first team, however. Makes no sense.

To me, this makes this time of year interesting.

If it's just a virus then that's not as bad, since he'll eventually get rid of it.

Those things can be a bitch, just give the guy some time. Or those of you complaining can go suit up in full pads in 102 degree heat with stomach cramps that feel like a hot knife gouging through you & the runs, then come back and tell us how it was.

If it really is a stomach problem with Gamble, he's been out so long that I'm fearing an intestinal problem. Maybe some form of colitis, or he might have developed diverticula that are acting up. Just hope it doesn't get any worse if that is the case.

OmG wE NEed HoUsE!
