Cam is the inevitable starter so it had to happen sometime.

That said, it sounds like they are installing option plays - makes sense he is with the 1s because they will never run those plays otherwise with Clausen.

Beason has tendonitis on his achilies they are in no hurry for him to get back.

Unless Gamble has something serious, he should have been out there by now. This has seemed strange from the beginning.

Maybe RR is just being extra careful with guys like Gamble, Beason and Connor.

I think the person they should be most careful with is Smith. I don't want him getting any stupid injuries in the offseason. Get him his own sleep chamber, a massage everyday, protein shakes every 3 hours. Whatever it takes!

Hard to draw conclusions, but Derek Anderson is still 0-0 since his signing. Cam running first team on installs exclusively tonite.

I think they opt to run a lot of option plays Saturday, whether Cam starts or not. Gotta see what works & what needs fine tuning by AZ game.
