if this is true. and i have my doubts. we would HAVE to get a second rounder. i dont see those two players helping us any. our TEs block more than nething and king is a good blocker. and were set at RBS. at FB, hoovers gettin some age on him but we dont realy have a huge need at that position. i say keep the two players. and give us a third and somebody on defense

I don't but I think this FO wouldn't care if he stayed even with that large cap number. And lets not forget Peppers has to agree to a long term deal for this to be viable.

Of course. That of course will be critical.

Your TEs not being receiving threats hurt you guys last year. And Scheff can block too.

BRB guys!

H

Looking at your offense?

You need a guy like him.

Looking at our offense? You mean the one with two of the better backs in the league?

Saying Carolina needs Peyton Hillis is akin to saying Denver needs Matt Cassel.

I know Hillis is a great player and I’m sort of shocked Denver is rumored to be shopping him, but to say we need him is absurd.

Our offense is relatively set. What we need is help on the defensive side of the ball. You know that Julius Peppers guy we’re talking about? He’s leaving us, and we don’t really have someone to fill his shoes just yet. We also need help on our line and possibly at cornerback.

That's what I was thinking. I liked Hillis coming out of college but Denver needs help on the Defensive side of the ball far, far, far more then we need help on the Offensive side (especially at RB or FB).

Bleh.

Keep Hillis. As everyone has said, he'd be a great heir to Hoover. That would make perfect since to me, and I'd consider it a terrific acquisition by the FO if it went through.

Forget about Scheffler. Don't need him. I can't see the FO looking for a tight ende acquisition at this point. Just doesn't make sense in our offense or based on our personnel.

Give me Payton and the 12th overall pick, or Payton and two 2nd rounders.

But the thing is our coaches like the TE's we have and dont look see them as receivers more as extra blockers.

Hillis and the 12th pick or Hillis and your second and third I can see. I could almost see Dulmerville added instead of a third.

i agree that a upgrade at TE would help. but i juss dont like the trade cause our needs are on defense right now. and i juss dont see this trade helping us much in that area
