Julius Peppers will be the first Carolina Panther to be inducted to the Hall of Fame!!...the only way he doesnt is IF the Chicago Bears win a superbowl within the next couple of years...and if plays there for the next 5 plus years

What has Julius Peppers done to earn a HOF bid? Pep still has to do something significant in order to get in, and I don't see that happening. There's a lot of DEs that are still playing that has a better shot at getting in. Not that I don't want him to get in.

His numbers over his career say HOF. Alot of the plays he has pulled off says HOF. He is one of the best DE the past Decade. That get you in the HOF.

The thing is, I can pull up some of these same kind of numbers with Dwight Freeney, Jason Taylor, and a number of different other guys. If Peppers get's in, he will have to wait a very long time. Yet if he expects to get in first ballot, he better start having some record breaking seasons. I'm talking about having a season or two where he gets 20+ sacks, etc.

I think Freeney is quietly much better than Peppers.
