So you guys know my stance by now on yard sales, I hate them! However, with a baby on the way in a couple months we are trying to save money on baby stuff. So for the past couple of Sat mornings we have been driving all over the place looking for deals.

I had an interesting encounter today that I really need to share. This morning we went to an old ladys house who was selling a bunch of household goods. We were talking to her, and she mentioned she is "getting rid of all of her adult son's junk" that he must have left behind. Sitting right front and center on the table was a massive glass bong! Now to try and paint the picture, there were like 10 people walking around, checking the ladys stuff out and no one noticed this! One Latino woman even picked it up, sniffed it, made a scrunchy face, and sat it back down! I was fixated on this marvelous piece of paraphernalia, I couldn't take my eyes off it!

Anyway, I didn't try to buy it, nor did I say anything to the lady. I probably would have said something, but I was kind of intimidated by the group of people, and I didn't want to embarass the woman.

All day today I have been thinking about this, if it sold, if someone said something, and most importantly, who is pulling off a rip from it laughing their ass off right now???
