would you trade a 1st and more for

The Vikings traded for J. Allen last year when they had an inexperienced QB in Jackson. Most teams realize that D whens championships and a good pass rush is essential for a great D and that is what Peppers does best. I don't see us getting two 1st rounders for him but I do think that some team will be willing to trade for him.

Yea I know, the thread was about any player, not just Peppers.

So for me it would depend upon the situation.

I believe in building more through the draft, so I woudn't be as a quick to give up picks.

any player in the nfl that would want a contract like peppers??

First the question has to be answered What kind of contract does Peppers want? He has said numerous times its not about the money. He wants to move to a position that is a lower paid position. It is certainly unclear at this point what his contract demands are. Until this question is answered, Your question is very difficult to answer.

The problem is that his "agent" is gonna want something close to what Haynesworth got. His reputation depends on it. Thanks a lot Dan Snyder.

Monstercat understands the political game perfectly. His statement is spot on.

The Tapetriots have an awful lot of draft picks in the first 3 rounds, and Bellichick is not inclined to draft any players the Pats cannot afford. They should be looking at free agent upgrades in exchange for draft picks, though not necessarily at DE. Otherwise, their draft day could be sloppy.

Every time I see this I can't help but think,

*hmm what have we gotten so far out of those who ARE running the team*

12-4 was nice, I'd like to see more though.

Hmmmm....so winning the Division and having the 2nd best record in the NFL is not good enough. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have the Panthers lift the Lombardi Trophy. However, people need to realize that we were one of the best teams in the league.

Giving up a starting QB and a player like Peppers for Cutler would be an astronomical blunder by the Panthers.

I'm just talking more about consistency, sure we've had good records before, but we never maintain that year in and year out. Some would consider this a problem.

I was just picking at the premise that they couldn't run a team. I mean our own GM was a sportswriter before he joined us.........

Was it them or the Raiders that made that ridiculous contract last year I can't remember? We have an uncapped year next year.
