Exactly how i said it would go down

He stated that 5 guys wasn't even in the conversation of best burger.

I was about to type an extremely long post then thought better of it, because I almost fell into the daily TRD bait troll trap:mad:.

I've had 5 guys as well. They charge a premium and allow you to put almost anything you want on your burger for that price, but I believe a few things are extra.

For the price and the style of burger, In N Out clearly wins.

My wife and I got two burgers, shared fries, and two drinks at 5 guys for $24. We get two burgers, two fries, two drinks at In N Out for $13-14 dollars.

Really no comparison all things considered.

Fwiw, there are only two sub places close by my house. Subway and Jersey Mikes. Subway has more variety imo, but Jersey Mikes has better steak subs. Subway is closer, so they win most of the time.

When it comes to burgers, Cookout is best, but their fries are not good.

FIREHOUSE SUBS are better than Subway and Jersey Mikes...they steam their meats instead of the oven and also every location has like 100 sauces to choose from.

I usually prefer sandwich places that serve fries instead of chips. One of my favorite sandwich spots is Philly Franks in San Marcos. They specialize in cheese steaks but they do offer other deli sandwiches that aren't bad and they serve fries.

I usually go with a cheese steak and fries, but I get the cheese whiz (no, not like out of the can) instead of the other cheese because it's way better.

Price I admit, In and Out wins. Taste ... um nope no way.

Fries it's no contest.

In N Out fries are hit and miss but they really aren't important when going there. They are good enough to get bye and I actually prefer them to McDonalds and some other places.

5 guys should be in a different burger category because they aren't really in the same mold as In N Out.

Even with that, it's still not as good as In N Out and give the choice, I go to In N Out 100 times out of 100.
