Proving people wrong on the Internet publically is like knocking somebody the fug out in person.

I respectfully disagree. When I call someone out on the internet, I typically get called an "internet tuff guy" and quickly forget about it. When I knock someone out in real life, me and my buddies go drink a beer afterwards and reminisce for a bit. Much funner than interwebz win.

the OP did a lot of overreacting in that thread and the making of this one is another one.

it was a discussion. not an argument. did i attack anyone? didn't see it. did i say someone was dumb for having an opinion? didn't see that either. i may have disagreed with the overreacting one, but i tried discussing it in a civil manner.

was i wrong? who cares? it happens a lot to everyone. i'm also right a lot. i'm used to being right and wrong, which is probably why i don't go making threads about being either one. if being right is a rare thing, though, i could probably see the importance of making a thread like this. to show the world that for one bright moment, you mattered. even if it's on some message board for fans of a football team, at least you had that moment.
