Exactly how i said it would go down

hate I arrived so late to this beautiful thread...

with all intents and purposes, Greg Olsen is a wide receiver playing TE.. he'll be our #1 receiver this year, unless Smitty blows up with 1400 yards..

WR, #1 receiving threat, someone with big play ability who can stretch the field.. call him what you want, but we did bring a big name in to be a huge receiving threat..

I vote this the most ironic thread of the year.. bragging and on top of the world to being wrong and looking foolish, yet again..

way to be overdramatic and entertain us all..

We are going to slow the progress of two good young receivers to bring in a vet when we have Smitty? Don't see it happening.

We also have AE and Our incoming rookie.

There is NO room and if you do you will hinder the development of our FUTURE STARS.

If Smitty leaves... Yeah I see us bring one in to mentor our youth.

let me also point out that what you're opinion was REALLY about is how bringing in a big passing threat would dampen Gettis/LaFell progress as young receivers. I told you there are literally thousands of examples proving you wrong. and then you picked up a shovel and started shoving heaps of sand into your vagina..

The real point you were trying to make, and the only point you made, is still wrong. Gettis & LaFell will carry on as usual..

and to top it off... Rivera just brought Naanee in for the sole reason to challenge Gettis & LaFell and mentor them..

Coach Ron Rivera on new WR Legedu Naanee: "One of the biggest things is we've had nobody step up other than Steve (Smith). We need to find guys that are going to step up and challenge for the (No. 2 receiver) position. This is a chance to get a guy who knows the system, understands the system and can show the young guys what it takes to be a pro."

further demonstrating how horrifically wrong you could be in 1 day.. not once, but twice.. on a topic you couldn't even remember correctly..

people aren't being assholes to you because they have a complex. they are being assholes to you because of threads JUST LIKE this...

About two months ago, we got into an argument (BLEY, RAYZOR, IVAN THE A$$KI$$ER and a few others)

http://www.carolinahuddle.com/forum/carolina-panthers/62327-i-see-us-making-a-splash-with-a-wr.html

Where It was said I was so stupid, ignorant and uninformed about OUR team because I said we would not go after a BIG NAMED WR.

My belief that Gettis and LaFell along with our other WRs would be all we would need coming into the season. So unless you consider Naame a top flight WR...(which I also said we might go after a lower tier player) And being there really isn't any other TOP FLIGHT WRs left. I can pretty safely say I was right.

While being right isn't my point. Having a valid opinion and because it isn't what the majority agrees with doesn't mean I AM WRONG, STUPID, IGNORANT or MISINFORMED.

If you don't agree with me....that is your opinion but doesn't give you the right to call anyone names or anything else.

The majority of what has happened since the Lockout was lifted has gone pretty much the way I thought it would.. With the except of the TE situation.

Though I am sure your egos will prevent you from apologizing, not for your opinions, but for your rude and unnecessary insults.

Those of you that do...thanks

Those of you that don't... I WAS RIGHT,,, YOU WERE WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm with you Bro. They will never say their sorry. Their to much of a douche.

Update: Instead of driving a few miles to IN N OUT, I settled for this little pizza joint called Two Brothers From Italy...It's delish.

What style pizza??? New York, Chicago?.. I really want a legitimate deep dish, but there aren't any good ones that I have found in ATL. A pretty decent NY style place called Oz pizza.

    • He will get a statue outside BofA stadium.
    • While this is true, I'm less concerned about him playing both ways from an endurance standpoint (although it's a very legitimate issue that would hurt him on both sides of the ball, especially late in the season). The real concern about him playing both sides is the physicality of the game at this level, especially with how slim his frame is, his career wouldn't last more than 5 or 6 years, if even that long. Playing 5 years full time on both sides of the ball is literally the equivalent to playing a 10 year career. If you think a 6'1" 185 lbs player can take the pounding of a 10 year career over the course of 5 years, stay healthy doing so, and still play at a high level for a number of years after that, then I have some oceanfront property to sell you in Arizona. You can't take a player in the Top 10 of the draft (or really anywhere in the first round) if your plan is to use them in a way that will make it near impossible for them to play the length of a 2nd contract in the NFL. The only way he plays both ways in the NFL is as a CB who gets 5-7 snaps on offense a game, half of which would just have him out there as a decoy to try and take the defenses attention.
