You assume other front offices thought he was worth a 2nd simply because Hurney did. I disprove that logic by showing that just because Hurney thought Jimmy was worth it doesn't mean others felt the same based on the fact that they passed on him. Makes perfect sense.

I think he's trying to say that the market dictates the value but Hurney is also part of that market; not mention there is no way to determine if he would have fallen out of the 2nd had we not drafted him. Im sure he wouldn't have lasted to the 3rd.

Teams can have very different grades on prospects, as evidenced by nobody wanting Jimmy except us. This shows that it is stupid to assume another front office thought AE was worth a second simply because Hurney did.

15 teams passed on Clausen in the 2nd round. You have no idea what grade the other 16 teams had on him b/c they didn't have the chance to select him.

That provides evidence that 15 teams had a different grade on him. Any evidence you have that any other team had a similar grade on him? No? So why assume it with absolutely nothing to back it up?

You're theory is flawed in that you think all second rounders are graded the same. Let's just go with an example. Let' say the Jaguars had the 35th overall selection, which is in the second round. Do the Jags feel Clausen/Edwards is worth it at that spot? No, if they passed on him. But, does that mean they wouldn't have taken Clausen/Edwards later in the second round? Absolutely not.

This validates my prior point that you're a dumbass. The word "assumption" implies that there are is no factual reinforcement so "baseless assumption" is redundant. You stupid dumbass.

Example: Before the draft the Panthers workout AE at WR. This leads to the "assumption" that they are looking at moving him to WR. This would be an assumption that isn't baseless. Try again and learn the definition of words before you use them to avoid looking like a dumbass
