Great (Short) Article on Armanti - Rivera: We’ll find places to put him on the field

If you can't take off the glasses and understand that you could have had Edwards a couple of rounds later, without giving up a second round pick, then you are beyond help.

Myabe, maybe not. No one knows for certain what would have happened had we waited, unless you have the ability to jump into alternate realities. I have heard read that statement before (that he would be available later), but mostly on internet message boards, and thats not exactly reliable information. No one knows how the draft would have played out. If he turns out to be a good player, then it was a good pick, no doubt about it.

I've heard that. If they picked Edwards to "sell tickets" they are even more dumb than previously believed. That's ridiculous.

Considering armanti has alot of fans from his college career, it was more of a money pick than a talent pick, even though personally i think Armanti will shape up to be a good NFL player, i watched him in college and hes sneaky fast i can't wait to watch him play this year.

True, no one knows. But I just cant believe that people were gonna take a 5'11" 190lb QB that early. I felt bad for the guy last year in that jets pre season game, out there trying to return kicks...

I do hope he can make a career out of it.

I don't remember him dropping any kick returns last year at all.

There have been plenty of 5'11" QB's in the NFL.

I give Armanti slim to no odds of being on the final roster next season. Sad, but true. What has he done thus far to deserve a roster spot?

We all gave him a pass his rookie season, but last year was supposed to be when he started to show us his potential. He couldn't get on the field at all on offense and did nothing on ST either. Sorry, just reliably fielding punts is not enough to get you a roster spot. If you're going to be a STer who doesn't contribute on offense or defense, then you need to be an impact STer.

He provides inspiration to this team and its fans
