This post is sarcastic

Here we go.....

1. sign TO

2. Sigh Torry Holt once rams release him

3. Trade Peppers to Pats or cowboys for Welker/Whitten

4. Pick up S Roy Williams and make a pass rushing DE(maybe too slow though)

5. AND find a QB that can throw 70 yds and put 50 pts a game

The Panthers are NOT going to do anything until the peppers thing is figured out

i can't say how i know this but New Orleans is going to offer him a relatively low, incentive based contract sometime within the next two days.

Why would they want him? They have one of the deepest receiving corps in the league...and none of them are circus characters.

TOs really not that bad anymore. A lot of it is just blown out of proportion by ESPN. I mean for example imagine the circus that would have erupted if Kris Jenkins had been playing for the cowboys when he went on his tirade in 07. all that ended up happening was a blurb on a blog only about twenty people read.

they placed a 2nd round tender on lance moore and he's probably going to be taken, possibly by Dallas now. Owens knows he's at the end of his career, and he needs to be on a team where he doesn't need to be the number one option (he can't beat number 1 corners like he used to be able to) and that he perceives as close to winning a superbowl. At least one of those could be new orleans.

I know they have Moss, but what if he went to NE.

That would probably be one of the only places that could contain him, and that team would just be plain wrong to defend.

Not saying he will or he should, but that is at least interesting to entertain.

    • Well yeah. Last time vs NO if we had had good QB play and half ass pass pro it is a different game. And that is the story more often, in point of fact, than the two or three hero games everyone wants to use to define the player.  That box was so stacked against the run it was basically impossible to break through it, you had to go over and around. It is what we knew was gonna be employed by teams and we were unable to stop them from doing it.    I am real interested to see the first 3rd and 8 and see how NO defenses it in the back end. Because they can look at that Rams tape and learn, but will they have enough fear/respect that it can happen to them or will we need to prove it again before they do?   Most people don’t learn from others’ mistakes and  need to make their own.
    • I like that Tillis is so down to earth  we will see where it goes ill say something controversial on a day that, along with next week, determines the panthers 2025  and 2026 fate  he referenced ‘money ball’, statistics and self scouting multiple times. it really makes me feel that Bryce will be back regardless of what happens over the next 4 games as that is the smart move for financial stability but by no means does that guarantee Bryce anything past that.  They will improve year over year regardless of position or who is affected       however, they will do the appropriate diligence and not cut off their nose to spite their face….it won’t be an emotional decision…unlike us Huddlers….for example, if Young’s happy ass shits the bed today, I’ll be less than pleased ..particularly having seen what they will do and having a bye week.  Brandon Staley is a good defensive coordinator and former HC.  His defense is aging but he can still develop a good game plan
