Cowboys release Terrell Owens

With TO gone in Dallas, the Tony Romo era will be coming to a close shortly. Romo is the most overrated QB in the league and benefited greatly from having a WR who caught almost 40 TDs in 3 years. The media is gonna tell the Cowgirls they will be a better team for dumping their best offensive weapon, but trust Romo is gonna fold again and there wont be a TO around to take the fall for it.

Agreed. Heck, he could not win the big games with TO on the field. How is this team gonna win without their biggest Offensive Weapon.

Hate TO or not...and I can't stand him....you have to admit that he is a beast on the field.

I've never understood the Romo love.

But TO is a goof, and not worth the drama anymore.

KT just hates white quarterbacks

In all honesty, Romo's playing profile isn't all that dissimilar to Delhomme's. The difference has been that Delhomme has in the past been more of a leader and a winner. Going forward, it remains to be seen.

The "Anti-List" is up to 16 or 17 teams now. PFT speculated on the Colts as a possibility. That certainly wouldn't have happened in the Dungy era.

But seriously, how much trouble do you have to be to get released from the Cowboys?

Jerry Jones is pretty pissed right now, and it has me wondering if he didn't lose a bit of an internal power struggle with his son. A while back Jerry wwas adamant that owens was staying, even saying that he "liked the drama" of players like Owens. However, son Stephen hasn't been as big a fan.

As long as the Cowboys suck, who cares. Anything that will wipe that stupid smirk off Romo's mug is a good thing in my book.

Looks like TO could find his next organization to destroy from within in Buffalo.

Well, those rumors about Terrell Owensmag-glass_10x10.gif landing in Buffalo are more than rumors.

Jay Glazer and Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com report that Owens is at the Bills’ headquarters, and the Bills are trying to get a deal done.

Per Glazer and Marvez, Owens is scheduled to leave today]
