The only thing worse than starting DA for the first few games would be to send Cam out there when he's not ready and let him get hit in the back of the head a few times.

Confidence is king and you don't want to run the risk of destroying Cam's by sending him out there before he's ready.

This is going to be a process guys, be patient.

How is not the best for the future of the organization? If Anderson lights it up that means the other players are grasping Chuds system. So what if it isnt Cam he can still learn in practice and on the sidelines. After the season Anderson can go somewhere else and Cam can come in with players experienced in Chuds system. Would make it easier for Cam next year.

The truth is, despite what has been said recently, that Riv said himself after the draft that the plan was for Cam to start ASAP. You don't spend a #1 pick on a guy to let him sit (unless he absolutely has no grasp of the offense and can't execute)...

So, yeah, I could see DA starting a few games, but it's too early to say who's gonna start game 1, because the preseason is gonna show us who should... What if Cam outplays DA? What if Jimmy outplays DA? Just too early for Lombardi to call this one...

I mean, I guess it's possible, but I'm sure it will piss Jimmy and Cam off... I get that he knows the offense but he should have to come in and prove himself like everyone else... I'd understand if this was a hall of famer we brought in, but dude's resume SUCKS over the last few years, he should have to earn his time just like they do.

Start DA but use Cam during those games. We need to basically ease Cam into a starting roll until he seems comfortable with the speed of the game but you have to use the number one overall pick in the draft at some capacity. I think Cam could be starter ready by the Redskins game.

You act like he doesn't deserve it. He's a headcase and he hasn't done jack poo for the past few years.

If Cam even looks half way decent in the preseason he will be the starter. Meaning, if he makes plays and is exciting for the most part even if he makes a few mistakes....he's gonna be the guy.

Only way I see Jimmy or DA starting is if Cam looks horrible.

Pat Y actually said that insiders say that ideally they WANT Cam to go Week #1. All depends on whether he continues to improve in TC and Pre-season.

It is all speculation right now. I can easily see either Cam or DA as the initial starter.

I think JC is a big time dark horse to start.

We have zero idea what this coaching staff will do....but, it will make for an interesting pre-season.

I am interested to see how DA performs in TC and Pre-season. Until then, we are all just guessing.
