Malcolm Tatum, DE - Louisville

At 6'5", 253lbs Tatum is a DE on the smaller side, but that doesn't mean he can't make an impact for the Carolina Panthers. In a game against Rutgers (pictured) Tatum closed out the 2010 season with a dominating 7 tackle, 2 sack performance. With DE depth very much in the air he could earn himself a spot.

Anybody know anything about him? Wasn't there a guy here that's a big Louisville fan? At 253 lbs he's definitely a bit small for the position, but at 6'5" he's got the frame to add the weight. If it came down to either/or, would this guy or Ugo Chinasa make the team?

With that frame i'd love to add him to the practice squad so he can add the weight he needs to for a very legitimate chance to contribute next year.

Jason Taylor plays at 255lbs, so that's not such a big deal. Don't know if he can play like Taylor though.
