What is the Huddle's views on fraternities?

I never got the concept of fraternities. Why not just get a house with people you actually like, throw parties with them, and go on trips with them, instead of paying to do the same thing with a bunch of strangers?

well, you shouldn't join a fraternity unless you actually like the members (well, a good majority of them).

It provides an opportunity to often meet more people on campus (people other than just your fraternity) than you would otherwise.....of course I am talking bout chicks.
