What is the Huddle's views on fraternities?

I wanted a broader range of friends (I had the WASPy thing all through HS) because that is what college was for...to me.

I had a number of friends in frats and they were all pretty cool. I got invited to their stuff and was never harassed to join because they knew I didn't want to. Their are always going to be dbags everywhere. At NC State In the 90's there were only a few ways to slay slugs and being in a frat was one of them.

Or you could just pull your cock out in Chapel Hill or Greenville and watch the bitches jump on

If you have the expendable cash do it. If you don't, don't worry about it.

I was not in one, my girl was, and loved it.

Sororities are completely different and that was why I didn't go through with pledging and joining.

a. you have to pay for everything. tshirts, dues, etc standard but if you don't go to chapter you get fined which is absolutely ridiculous

b. you "aren't supposed to" blaze during pledging tumblr_lmu8hxDJnJ1qgx51m.png

c. you aren't allowed to drink or do anything appropriate while wearing your letters and there are certain days during the week u HAVE to wear your letters or be killed.

If I had joined, I would have definitely dropped out at some point either from going completely broke (whcih I already was) or just being generally annoyed by all the dumb bullpoo rules. Frats are so much better.

All my friends were greek so I went to their parties and had a great time but Im glad I never went through with it.

I never got the concept of fraternities. Why not just get a house with people you actually like, throw parties with them, and go on trips with them, instead of paying to do the same thing with a bunch of strangers?

I was in one. Recommend it. Just make sure you join the right one.

Paying for friends is a stupid argument of what people who weren't in one say. There is so much more to it than that, and if you join a good one in College, you will have the time of your life.
