Much appreciated updates/pics KT.

And b/c no one has beat me to it and this is one huddle hall of famer to another... what did the cops do once they found Nathan?

j/k man

Secondly, I'd like to add, whoever the jackass was that posted the thread about Beason, I hope that dude gets hit by a bus tonight... I actually started to tear up and saying "no" aloud, only to be greeted by some more unfunny that's become commonplace around here recently.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand... that was cool of Morrison to do... I keep reading how well regarded he has become amongst our reporters and fans who have come in contact with him, he seems really engaging and hands on with the fans. I'm currently trying to devise a plan to get down to camp for the first time ever myself!

P.S. - F*** the po-lice! *NWA voice*

EDIT: Someone beat me to it.

That sucks, KT. At least you eventually got there though. I would have done it like I did when I got my ticket for driving with an expired tag. I was doing 70 in a 70 (because I KNEW my tag was out and didn't want to give the cops reason) on I-40 heading back from a State Championship game. A cop rolls up on me and turns on his lights. He gets to my window and says "license and registration." While looking for my registration, I ask "what caused you to pull me?" He said my tags. I said, "So, you were bored and decided to look for a reason to pull somebody, so you ride around at damn near midnight, looking at people's tags? All the while, some a-hole is driving drunk somewhere? Nice."

He just smiled and went back to his car. Came back with a ticket. Probably could have tried to kiss-ass my way out of it, but I was irritated (my old high school lost the SC game). Made my point though.

Its definitely worth it. The Panthers are all class to their fans and they really try to make it an enjoyable experience for all who come.

Armanti has bulked up a tad, and he made a lot of tough grabs from both Cam and Clausen. He looks like he will be a factor at the wideout position. I didnt feel like he was playing out of position when I watched him. He looked like a speed receiver with good hands. Clausen threw some nice passes to his TEs, but most of his deep balls were wobbly and were underthrown. Cam by far has way more zip on his balls than any of the other QBs who took snaps.

The Cam to Smitty pass was a beauty. Got the whole side of the field crunk and Smitty jumped up and pointed the sky like he always does after he got in the end zone. I feel like those two are already on the same page.

Has Smitty bulked up some from last season?

...also if I'm not mistaken Chud's offense relies on the ability of the quarterback to throw the deep ball (Gettis, Smitty, and even Olsen should reap major yards from that)

Good to know that Cam's long ball looks good, always knew he had the strength to throw a pigskin quarter mile, but was a bit worried about his accuracy on those throws against a legit defense. Guess all that hard work in the offseason is paying off

That's the one thing that I think works in Cam's favor... I'm glad Jimmy did well today, that is a great thing for competition and for our team if he can become an asset... But, the hesitation to throw deep and play that high risk-high reward will hold him back. Cam might make some mistakes, but his willingness and ability to throw it deep could be the deciding factor going into the season opener.

Also, I've asked some of the other guys, but how did Smitty look speed wise? Still the old 89? Or looks like he's getting by more on technique and know-how?

Cam did have one pass that he threw late in the middle of the field about 15 yards that was tipped (would've been an INT in a real game). He was going to #89 of course but took too long to get it to him. I didnt see Cam tuck and run not once. All the drills they worked on were passing plays. So make no mistake, he's still got work ahead of him and isnt a perfect passer, but out of the QBs I saw take snaps Cam looked the best and the fans around me agreed (even the guy who was a Gamecock fan and said he hated him)
