Police working to a sales target, thats fuged up.

Not a sales target but if you know your state is low on public funding and you know you are paid by the state, you might do your best to make sure that the state has funding.

It's not fugged up at all. Their job depends on them enforcing the law, no matter how shitty you think it is.

I have met a lot of cops. Loads of them are raciest and loads of them are just profilers but the common this is they enjoy the power and they enjoy getting big busts. So if your riding a Impala with rims or if your driving a car with a tail light out expect to get stopped and harassed. Just the way it work. Also the best defense is to be polite and let them know you will see them in court on there BS. If they think you will kick there ass there then most of the time they will leave you alone.

Makes more sense now...I thought he was following you from where you left.

Maybe your manager gave you a bad rap at work or thought you were stealing.

Don't know if you were taking a subliminal jab there, but...

Who knows... I've thought about whether my manager said something to him, but being young at the time, I actually thought I was cool with that manager and got along with him really well.

But, in hindsight, he waited to leave until I got in my car and then must've sped around to beat me to the spot.

If I wasn't speeding at all, maybe I wouldn't have been pulled over and even opened that door for all the unnecessary searches/harassment/breathalyzer... But, then again, they pulled me over even when I wasn't speeding in that same town on other occasions just to give me a hard time.

That time just really bothered me because the officer saw me leave and KNEW I hadn't been drinking or anything like that...

One of my buddies up here in Huntersville got pulled over around 3AM by Cornelius PD and had been drinking. He was drunk and was most certainly going to get a DWI, when HPD saw that he had been pulled over in his district by a Cornelius officer.

My friend described it as the two cops got into a "dick measuring contest" with each other and the HPD officer had final jurisdiction and let him leave. Apparently there is a big rivalry between the two.

I will agree though that the HP in SC are some smug bastards. They even pulled over the Governors car and asked his driver why he was going so fast. He replied that he was transporting the Gov and the HP officer said that was not a good reason... For one your not supposed to pull a car over with #1 state plates on it, #2 When someone says there transporting the Gov you shut your mouth, and say your sorry, and have a nice day.

Yea, when the stocky cop started walking up to me I was just preparing myself in my mind for a serious ass whoopin'. I'm not even interested in going to Spartanburg or anywhere else in SC. I'll just wait until they cross the state line before I see them Panthers in action.

No jab...sometimes managers are shitty people.

I have a few stories, one where I was the only white guy and I was with two black guys and had 11 guns pulled on me because "n word" don't hang around whites in these parts" is what the cop told me.

I was in the back of a shitty two door car with my buddies. The passenger told the driver he was going to honk the horn for no reason and the driver said if he did he'd beat his ass. We were all good friends so it wasn't serious. We're sitting in a Vons parking lot after a HS basketball game. Dude honked the horn, driver starting punching him in the body and stuff but not hard.

Some lady saw and called the cops I guess. We decided it was best to leave and head home because this lady was circling our car with hers. As we left the lot, a cop pulls us over, we pull over no problem. I look back, there is 6 cop cars and all the officers are out with guns drawn. Now I'm like WTF, this is shitty. They made us put our hands out the window, no back window so I had to reach up and out which made me tired waiting while the other two dudes got out.

I get out and trip over the seatbelt so it looks like I'm drunk. I have a huge dip in and can barely talk without drooling to the officer because I don't want to spit infront of him. We all get cuffed and put in different cars. My phone starts ringing and he asks if it's my drug dealer and I laughed and said it was my brother. He answered it for me.

He said the lady told the cops we were beating our buddy and punching him in the face after he was already unconscious. I laughed and said "Look at him, does he look hurt, we were just messing around"

Then he told me it was extra suspicious and I shouldn't be hanging out with "them."

Funny thing was my dad's buddy said the exact same thing when we got home and we all just laughed.

If they see different races hanging out together the first thing they think is "drugs". I've been around cops and heard them say that, black cops and white cops.
