If Clausen starts and does well, will you boo him anyway?

still expecting Anderson to be named the Game #1 starter. His vet experience and knowledge of the system is likely to put him significantly ahead of both Cam and Jimmy.

don't know how long he keeps it....but I fully expect him to be the starter at the beg of the season.

well, I still believe what Pat Y said per his sources in Carolina and that the front office and coaches want Cam to be ready enough to go week 1.....if not I do agree Anderson will get the nod.

All Rivera will be concerned w/ is the best option to win until Cam gets in and that would have to be DA.

Doesn't have to be...very likely may be though. And where are you reading Clausen was throwing everything out of bounds? According to tweets yesterday, he was very good and showed improvement.

I know, I know. How dare he do anything remotely decent.

Peyton Manning

Joe Flacco

Matt Ryan

Mark Sanchez

Sam Bradford

Who did they "sit and learn" from?

Those weren't my examples, for a reason. Cam is a physical gem, not as gifted as any of those QB's. Maybe Sanchez, but not Flacco or Ryan or Manning when they was coming into the league. Will Cam grow? Of course, but again, the ideal situation is having a QB sit and wait for the veteran skilled QB and when he retires the younger one becomes the starter then. No taking the chance in the draft, no years wasted without a QB, you see what I mean?

didn't say he threw everything out of bounds....said he was throwing everything short. And it was reported he was still doing his gay scramble left and tossing it away by the Observer folks.

What improvement did he show? Throwing passes less than 10 yards ain't improvement it is the norm for him.....

I'd much rather here Clausen was throwing picks to Smitty and Olsen 15-20 yards downfield in traffic than hitting 7 passes in a row 7 yards downfield. Would show he was working on not being that crappy QB from 2010.

Ask Rogers how being a backup and developing worked out for him.

Not saying that Cam is or is not ready to start this season. But to make naive and ill-informed comments like you just did shows that you are either 10 years old or know absolutely nothing about player development in the NFL.

Appearantly you didn't read any of my supporting arguements.

It would obviously be foolish of to state an opinion if you I nothing to back up my point with.

BY THE WAY; If Mark fugin Sanchez can start as a rookie and take his team to the AFC Championship in his rookie and sophomore year, what seems to make you think that Cam would do so terrible as a rookie starter???

Of the seven "starting" (must have averaged 14 passes per game to be considered a starter) Rookie QBs from 2008-2010, three of them managed to take their teams to the playoffs.

So, again please tell me why Cam should "sit and learn" from Jimmy fugin Clausen or Derek flippin Anderson?????

Those teams didn't have shortened offseasons could be one reason.
