How many series do you think the Panthers will let Cam run against the Giants ?

in game one each guy will get a quarter most likely. In what order I have no idea. It may go with whomever has the best grasp on the Offense and on paper at least that could be DA.

I can't even guess what the rotation will look like.

With Jimmy starting, Cam will probably come in the game 2nd quarter and stay until sometime in the 3rd.

Cam and Clausen are the ones who need the work.....I think Cam gets a lot of work. Neither one of them should be treated as NFL starters and handled with light reps.

I say Clausen starts they play a Quarter. Cam play the second quarter and half of the third quarter. Derek Anderson play the rest of the third and the fourth. Could be vice versa with any guy.

It's interesting when there is a legit QB competition in preseason. For so many years, we saw the incumbent, Jake, get his traditional 1-2 series, nothing risky, and then he was done. Now, preseason or not, all of these guys need plenty of snaps to be evaluated.

If you roll Jimmy out to start the game with the #1's, the pressure will eat him alive. If Cam plays a couple of series' and makes his rookie mistakes, Jimmy could come in with conceivably less pressure. Don't know - I still want Cam to start.

cam & clausen should play 1 1/2 qtrs each and let anderson play the 4th

In preseason, Cam could get the starts and then DA takes the reins in week 3 of the preseason then they decide about the regular season based on these 4 games.

Hard to say with Rivera. Fox was set in his ways as far as playing time in preseason, but Rivera may want more playing time for the starters. I just hope Cam gets at least a series or two with the starters, as well as Jimmy.

I can't wait till till the 1st preseason game next sunday.

I really don't like Cam Newton. I hope the Giants show the world next sunday that we are not going down easily and take out newton with them. Show the league who the real beasts are. Even if it is preseason. I just want Tuck to take out Cam and Webster to INT Cam to show how bad Cam really is. I just really hope the giants will do this. Anyone else? (without the giants risking their bodies)
