When people say Munnerlyn is too small to cover this guy or that guy, do you mean from a build standpoint? I'm just wondering because Revis shuts down everybody regardless of their height and he is only 2" taller than Captain with the same 38" vertical. Is that 2" the difference-maker?

Captain could be a #1 CB if he only had a few more inches of height. I'd like to see if he could adapt his game and put himself over the hump. Carlos Rodgers would just end up sucking by the end of the year anyway. Asante is not worth his price tag.

Just wait for the cuts and roll with it. We can't be the best at every position.

The problem was that some of the best talent out there happened to be our own guys and it was going take money to resign them.

Then if we didn't sign CJ and had the money to pick up a CB, we'd have a glaring hole at DE and be back at square one.

hmm yeh wildly overspending on a couple top free agents and then not being able to fill other glaring needs. sounds like a recipe for success if i ever heard one

Honestly 2 inches is a huge difference. Also it comes from the fact that we all saw Captain get abused by larger receivers last year.

cj thing aside, maybe we just dont give 43 million to an aging rb coming off two consecutive years finishing on IR when we're stacked at the position, or 12 million to a freaking kicker, but yeh i dont know. dan snyder recipe for success always seemed to work right

Does anyone have any idea what Corners are out there that might be cut that are even worth looking into?

No, that's the beauty of it.

It happens every year, somebody out of nowhere gets the axe.

There really isn't much left on the market so we might as well wait it out.

Marques Colston is the tye of Wr that I fear Captain going against. He already had gotten mauled against Nicks.

The idea is that the Panthers didnt need to outbid Atlanta by 20 million for him. No other team was going to offer what he got. He could have still been had for 15 million less. Same for Deangello.

Idk man, stand those two next to each other and tell me they have the same athletic talent proportionately. Have you checked wingspan? Have you factored in mass and strength? Not to mention Revis may be the most talented cb in the league.

I dont know where youre headed with that, but Im just sayin, . . . in the NFL, you better be the best and not just really talented for your size.
