On another note, the Raiders should have serious concerns. They lost Namdi, if I spelled that right, and they are still over the cap. Not sure what they paid him but how in the hell are the Eagles still under cap?

Also, without reading this thread through, I have to say that all we would have to do is offer Kalil a long-term contract, and give him somewhere around $9m instead of the 11+ he's making now, and we'll be under the cap.

But too pay that much when we have Stewart, Goody, Sutton is just so so stupid, and it cant be denied. I think it comes down to---its what they wanted. If they wanted an 'Asante Samuel' they would have went a different direction by offering D.Will less or moving on completely. But they didn't. They have a plan, do I agree with it, no, not all of it. But I don't coach in the NFL or run a team.

lol it's just amazing. we go from having the 2nd most cap space in the league (2nd to only the bucs) to being over the cap and we only added a minimum of new talent, still have glaring holes and a lack of depth at numerous positions. lol and people call this sh*t a success

look at the eagles added a HUGE amount of new talent and are still under the cap and if they ship out asante and get vick to agree to a long term deal they'll be WAY under
