Judging from that Senior Bowl tape he gets lost in traffic a lot. Gets some nice push though.

i think the lost in traffic stuff can be coached out. having that push and motor gives a good platform to work from.

i can't wait to see him develop. i hope that ron edwards and fua can do a good job of taking a couple blockers up b/c if mcclain can get in the backfield he is going to do some damage. i think as mclain pogresses, tho, that he is going to have to require double teams a lot as well. i hope so. honestly would rather that be the case just for opening things up for the LBs.

whatever the case, i like this guys potential.

Just from that game he looks pretty good. Gets good push, just seems to need to work on gap control, screen awareness and getting lost in traffic. All coachable skills and most already mentioned by my esteemed posting colleagues.
