Why?

I've already been through this... To make a long story short, I believe in this coaching staff and these players! The optimism is like something I've never seen before in a camp... Due to lockout? Maybe. Our head coach just said WOW when asked about how ^He thought Cam was doing... I mean when's the last time u heard that poo about ANY QB in this league?

Offense: healthy line for a change (knocked on wood just now)

Young receivers that are hungry and talented, oh and then there's a guy named Steve Smith.

TE's.... Two of them that have proven they can play at a High level in this league

RB's... Best backfield in the NFL period!

QB... Cam Newton. While ^He hasn't officially thrown an NFL pass, there has never been a QB coming into the NFL with so much scrutiny surrounding him... What's more? He is a proven leader at every level... And all signs at camp are echoing this...

Our offense will put up serious points this year...

Defense... This is what Ron Rivera, Meeks, and Mcdermott are known for... This is like the dreamteam coaching staff on D!

Line--- still missing a DT (my opinion) and we really dint have a bookend DE for CJ...

LB's--- Best LB core in the NFL... If they can stay healthy it will get NASTY!

DB's-- got some depth at safety... Gamble, and Munnerlyn as Nickel. We still need a solid 2 corner...

Tbh, I'm not really worried about our D though... If we can stay healthy we'll be fine... (but why TCF?)

Because we have some of the nastiest defensive coaches all on one team... If u think that we will not have the personnel that they think they need you are mistaken! If we don't pick anybody up... It's because they believe we don't needs them. Will I question it? Of course I will, but they know way more about those guys than we ever will when it comes to judging talent.

Addressing the notion on the implementation of two new philosophies on both sides of the ball... Yes we are at a disadvantage.... But our guys are motivated, both players and coaches alike... They are hungry!

Will there be blown civerages? I hope not but yeah, there will be. This is NOT last year though where our defense will be on the field for 75% of each game... We will be able to extend drives just because of Cam's athleticism... Our defense will be nasty, Beason said so himself!

These guys all have chips on their shoulders... We have a few UDFA's that will probably contribute right away as well... I'm not banking on this by any means though...

Bottom line is if Cam stays healthy... Then yeah, I see 10 wins as a real possibility... If He goes down we are FUGGED! Period! We downgraded as far as backups go IMO.. It's arguable though because Moore has never had as good a statistical year as Anderson. It's early and Pickle still is pickle...

And yes I think that Cam makes that much of a difference... Without him we're lucky to win 5 or 6 games... For real! But with him... It keeps our defense off the field and resting, able to adapt to the opposing offense and get extra coaching to adjust to the attack.

I think we will take a lot if people by surprise... No coach will tell their team, well boys... Carolina was 2-14 last year... Let's go smack em down and get ready for next week. We have demanded the respect and rightfully so...

The sad part is that our fans dont even respect our own team. It's safer to go with the popular sentiment at times.

1. None of that equals wins, all 32 teams are just as hungry and motivated to win.

2. We HOPE Cam can extend drives, until it is proven no reason to bank on it.

3. Teams know how quickly things change in this league. No team is going to say "well Carolina sucked last year so we don't even need to practice for them". We may surprise the media, but every NFL team will be prepared for us.

4. Respect for the team has nothing to do with how many wins fans expect. Don't respect New England but I expect them to have a good season.

Nowhere in my post did I say you guaranteed anything so you might wanna learn to read. BTW still waiting for you to show me one person who said we don't have enough talent to win 10 games.

I know one of these.. she's a Steelers fan. I denounced our friendship after she told me The Golden Calf of Bristol is a better QB than Rothlisberger..

What I do get upset about is the fact that did a breakdown and nobody agrees with anything I said... At this point it's as if u guys are trying to piss me off by intentionally not agreeing.

It's whatever... I just got off the phone with DirecTv and when I move to FL in 5 days...I will have the ticket for FREE, two months of free service, more channels than I get now, the HD package FREE, and they're going to set up my dish twice for free, and I'll be paying $27 less a month than what I pay now. Oh and they're throwing in an additional HD DVR box into my package, which now makes 3...

this is the kind of rational that's leading you astray.. no one is disagreeing with you just to make you mad. everyone is disagreeing with you because nothing you have written tells us the Panthers are going to win 10 games..

you haven't told us how installing 3 new systems and a rookie QB is going to lead us to 10 wins.. and anything you say is all conjecture..

there isn't any data you can provide to tell us why we will win 10+ games.. when there is an infinite amount of data to explain why we won't..
