Yas: Mixed reviews on Cam Newton's Debut

I love the comments about breaking Cam in half. He is almost as big as Brandon Jacobs.

Yeah, I don't think people understand how big and powerful Cam is... but they will.

Imagine Cam a year or two from now when he's had the full benefit of an NFL strength program.

I don't know about powerful but seriously, you can't understand how big he really is till you see him. To me he looked like the 3rd biggest / Tallest guy on the team...and he isn't a pole like Pike

From Biggest to smallest (From where I was sitting)

Lee Ziemba

Greg Olson

LOL at the comments. damn he has some haters out there. I hope he wins like 3 super bowls and a couple of MVPs just to shove all the hate back in these douchebag's faces.

Ok first off can we grow up and not say 'haters'? Unless you are still in HS, the term is immature as hell.

Second, the guy has a ton to overcome. Dual threat college QB's don't pan out 99% of the time in the NFL. Picking one first overall, normally, is a stupid thing to do. That said, I hope to God he does EXACTLY what you hope he will too.

ANY QB would love to win 3 superbowls. As for as MVP, meh that is the same as playing fantasy football to me unless he wins a superbowl as well.

But lets quit getting onto people that feel the guy has knocks on him, because right now until he bucks the trend of guys like him it is going to be this way. Its not a personal shot at him, its a legit concern from decades of guys like him not making it in the NFL and we did make him the #1 overall pick which is ALWAYS going to be under extreme scrutiny. So relax and lets see how the kid does over his career.

Oh and how did he have a debut? Funny I didn't think we played a regular season game yet ( a shot at the author of the article ) :D
