"Early Look at the Depth Chart"

it's better than his earlier attempts.

hartsock as FB made me scratch my head, but it makes sense, i suppose. he's a strictly blocking TE and there isn't really a whole lot of difference between the two. who knows...

Yeah, but makes more sense than if he was listed as a TE b/c we already have Olsen, Shockey, Barnidge... His likelihood of being cut goes up dramatically as a TE. But, I thought Jackson did well last year as backup FB... And Sutton was even better than him.

Who knows... I don't really see why Person put this out there right now. Doesn't make sense. Side note, Coryell offenses used H-Backs correct? If so, Hartsock is more of an h-back than an actual TE.

Not sure why Gettis at 2 WR is surprising, he was clearly better than LaFell last year.

One person who I am intrigued with is Duke Robinson. I remember him at OU and thought he was a good draft selection. He hasn't seen much playing time because of his injury so maybe he can finally get settled and see if he could push for some playing time.

Derek Landri's not on the team anymore.

I think that, honestly, at this point, Pilares is definitely behind Armanti on the depth chart. Armanti has been a star during training camp, and when I was at practice, Pilares was learning how to get off of jams from DBs while the other receivers were running routes, including Armanti.

Also, Armanti was the #1 for punt return each time they lined up, then Trent Guy, then Captain, then LaFell.
