It's actually a philosophy shift. They know the league is now a pass happy QB league and have devalued the middle 3. Pass rush and coverage are going to define their D.

I'll love it, and believe it, when I see it. Here's hoping last year's inept offense can give our D some DAMN REST or we won't be aggressive as long as we need to be. And here's hoping a solid CB comes in so that Brees, Ryan, McNabb, Rodgers, Schaub, and Manning don't have a field day with our lackluster backfield.

I could see on day 1 of practice that they were working on shifting around in the gaps just before the snap to create confusion on the offensive line while at least one of the LB's blitzed... knew this would be a different look for our defense!

poo-talking aside i think this will be great for the Panthers. I love the aggressive style defenses so it should be interesting to see
