it's ridiculous that we have fans out there heckling and booing Clausen. what the fug.

I did not get the sense that Cam ended practice ahead of Clausen at all. The reality is that while Clausen has an NFL year under his belt, that year was under a totally different system with a set of coaches that couldn't teach him much or that he ignored (or both). It was obvious last year he couldn't play, so while he isn't a rookie, he is coming from pretty far back, too. I don't expect great things out of him at all, but I think we should all hope he improves... it can only make the team better.

I'm surprized about how big Cam looked in pads. Is he going to be the biggest starting QB in the NFL?

One of the biggest but no. Freeman and Flacco are at 248lbs.

Newton is listed at 244lbs.. and Big Ben is 241lbs.. so very close.
