As a fan, I just want success for the franchise. Sure its frustrating when you have poor QB play, but I dont feel like Clausen was given a fair chance.

I'm not a hugger or a hater. I love Cam, because I have been an Auburn/Carolina fan since the Cadillac Williams and Julius Peppers days but I'm also a Panthers fan and I want all the players to succeed.

I know...it got quite annoying.

Cam has HUGE upside...but is going to take time.

Both the Huggers and Haters need to accept this fact.

Certain people bring out extreme huggerism on my part :lol:

But I am sincere when I say that for a guy's first NFL practice he really made some plays it sounds like. He also made several mistakes but that is expected of a rookie. Cam may not be consistent right now throwing the ball but it sounds like he will be explosive with his arm and his feet.

And the idea that he should only get better has me excited for the future.

They are fantastic. I eat a few turds dusted with ground habanero powder and a dab of Ghost Pepper hot sauce every tailgate.

However, I like really, really spicy food.

I as well am excited in his potential and future.

I actually haven't been to a Huddle Tailgate but I will be in college in Virginia this year; hopefully I can take a few of my dad's PSL tix in december and bring some of my friends that are big Auburn fans to a game and a tailgate party.

Unfortunately, I feel like he might be starting game #1 if he is ready or not. Sounds like he was a little better than Jimmy throwing and is certainly a threat with his feet.

On a side note on my other hugger prospect, it is good to hear that Burney is making plays. I really hope he makes the final roster even if it is in a special teams capacity.

So true. How about the best players will be starting come week 1 of the regular season? It's really that simple. Now whether that's 'your guy' shouldn't matter as long as they are wearing a Panthers' jersey.

Anderson was actually a very mobile quarterback in college, not sure how much of one he is now though.
