This is coming from someone who's seen Asante many times. The guy either intercepts the ball or gets beat. He is nowhere near as good as many would like to think.

If he can cover his man one on one, then I give a damn about the INT's. We can get turnovers from plenty of other positions on the field. DE's with forced fumbles, or Godfrey & Martin can make plays in the middle when they don't have to compensate for Richard Marshall's lack of talent.

Yes!! I'm so stoked and hope this goes through! He's the CB I've been wanting us to go after this whole FA! He'll be cheap and he's still young which is a major upside. This kid should have been the DROY when he came out but I forgot who he lost out to. Either way, from what I've seen, he's legit and will be even more legit in our system. Pull the trigger and "Git 'er done!".

anyone who can display some semblance of talent in that one big distraction of an organization known as the Redskins is willing to take a shot on...I'm sure Meeks can teach him a little bit about getting picks..hell Captain Munnerlyn even got a INT last year and I don't think he ever had one even in college lol.

Hall is also one of the most overrated players in NFL history.

i'd rather have a guy like Rogers who doesn't aim to make the big play so much that he gives them up frequently

Hall is what he is and yes, he's overrated, but he isnt a bad player, honestly, Rogers is better, but Washington is moving on from him which is why they signed Josh Wilson.

Yeah. Gamble has that damn problem, but not on the level as Hall.

Gamble is more of a gambler type of player, he isnt Hall at all. Hall is a talker, very fast and makes more plays than Gamble usually, both can get beat, but i think Hall gets beat more.

Eh, not ALL of them hate the guy. i am a Panther and Redskin fan and i liked how Rogers played for us, wish he would've intercepted some more passes because if he intercepted more passes, then we could've had a few more wins, but other than that, i liked him and think he has potential and can improve with good coaching on defense, something Carolina has.
