Don't be suprised if Anderson starts week 1 for us, the idea that Cam will be ready by week 1 is a pipe dream... not saying he won't be ready but it's a HUGE transition made more complicated by the lack of OTA's, etc...

I would think they would put in Jimmy over him, depending on how JC has been looking at TC

Some of you guys wanted Delhomme to come in and teach Newton and Clausen how to throw interceptions. (Of course, no one has to teach Clausen that, he's already a pro in that category) At least Anderson have experience and success in the offense we are running.

the reason people wanted Jake is because he's at least an older vet whose been there, done that and has been a class act. Anderson hasnt and he's still fairly young.

not that I want to see him on the field.....but he had less talent on his team and won more games than Jimmy did last year.

I dont' want to see either take the field.

i think the Panthers had less talent (at times) then Arizona last year, like in the games when Smith was hurt and it was LaFell and Gettis, ALSO remember that Anderson played in the worst division in the NFL while the Panthers play in a tough division.

Not when looking at the overall teams.....Cards have more WR talent.....Carolina had the edge in just about every other aspect (which puts less on QB).

Anderson > Clausen. Anderson has a lot of Delhomme/Moore to his game. Good w/ some at times horrific play mixed in (too often actually). Clausen doesn't have the extreme high and low.....it is more of a consistant level of incompetence. So there play might average out to both being horrible......the QB play is pretty different.

I just don't get the outrage....he is better than Clausen or Pike. Not enough to matter but the real problem is how weak the QB roster is to begin w/.

First off, Carolina played the West teams once, Arizona played them twice, twice vs. the Seahawks, twice vs. the Rams, twice vs. the 49ers, much easier than twice vs. Falcons, Bucs and Saints. Second, Clausen was a rookie, of course he's going to suck, Anderson has BEEN in the league for years, he should know how to win, but on a team with such great WR talent, he couldnt do much of anything with them. i would start Clausen over Anderson, Clausen may improve which improves his trade value, if he backs up Anderson, trade value lowers. Anderson doesnt have Delhomme or Moore in my book. Delhomme was consistant until his injury. Anderson had one good year, then got paid and never re-gained that form.

Before this I was going to give our Free Agency moves a "B+" to an "A"

Now, it's a solid "B" to "B-". If we don't get a decent CB before the regular season starts, it will be a "C+" to "B-".

And why would anyone here, and especiallyour coaching staff/FO care at all what grade some know nothing and emotional fan gives their work.
