He has had an ACL surgery. Those are not quick fixes and most people that follow sports should know that. Better to give him time then for him to go the T.Davis route.

he has talent, plus his upside is really high. most scouts said he was a 2nd round talent.

I have high hopes for the kid but I don't think we should rush him into playing this year if he isn't 100%. I really wanted to see what this kid could do this year but I would rather him heal up and sit out a year rather than play this year and take a chance on him not healing up.

And I'm not worried; I never expected him to play much this year. When we drafted him I remember reading his knee would not be ready until September at the earliest. Put him on PUP, if he's not ready by the time he has to come off, IR him and see what he's got next year.

amazes mme that anybody expects a 4th round pick to be an impact player in his first year.

The guy tore his ACL - Hurney and company knew exactly what they were getting. ACL tears (I tore one) take a year to heal unless you are a freak like Wes Welker.

if none of our dumpster dives at DB pan out in camp i see us making a trade for somebody. even if sherrod martin can switch to CB i don't trust a godfrey-pugh combo at safety farther than i could throw them.

Why would you move Martin to CB? Martin is a better S than Godfrey.....Godfrey played CB his entire college career as well.

A Pugh/Martin combo at S while not what any of us what could be more consistant in pass coverage than the other option.
