OK, here's the rapid-fire what-I-learned tonight: 1) They're going to have plays for Cam even if Jimmy's starting.

2) Cam's arm is much stronger, but Jimmy's the more accurate of the two at the moment. That distinction might be significant.

3) I'm kind of down on the Derek Anderson talk for one main reason -- I don't think he's very good at playing football.

4) Interested to see them when the guys with new contracts get back on the field Thursday. Tonight wasn't a fair indicator, scant numbers.

5) Pads will also be telling. Armanti's looking good now, but how he holds up with contact will be a deciding factor. Tough kid though.

6) They have depth at CB, what they need is another starter. 7) DT too, although McClain might be that guy if he gets here.

8) There are plays being drawn in the dirt that we've never seen before, and I get the sense more are coming. They will run aggressively.

9) It's early, but there's good depth at WR. Might have to keep six if you want a special teamer like Wright or Martin to hang around.

10) Saw a lot of familiar faces tonight. But it won't stop being weird not seeing John Kasay for a long, long time.
