1 Sep 11 CAR @ ARI W (Zona has no run game and they hurt their D this offseason talent wise)

2 Sep 18 GB @ CAR W (defenses are normally ahead of offenses early in the year, plus GB is coming of an emotional Monday night game against the Saints)

3 Sep 25 JAC @ CAR W (Winnable, however the Jags have gotten better on paper)

4 Oct 02 CAR @ CHI L (As said before, emotional game however I don't see us taking down both GB and CHI)

5 Oct 09 NO @ CAR W (Rebound week, again defense is still a little bit ahead of the offense. Also, NO had a TON of FA's which typically hurts chemistry early in the season)

6 Oct 16 CAR @ ATL L (Two tough division games in a row, I don't think we win both)

7 Oct 23 WAS @ CAR W (Should be the easiest game on the schedule)

8 Oct 30 MIN @ CAR W (I expect this to be a close game, solid defense and lots of running plays)

9 Bye

10 Nov 13 TEN @ CAR W (I think Tenn should be very good, but you should be able to win with 2 weeks of prep)

11 Nov 20 CAR @ DET L (Winnable game, however if the lions are healthy and doing well I don't think we can overcome the momentum)

12 Nov 27 CAR @ IND L (Manning is working his magic to get the colts back into the playoffs, our young secondary just doesn't hold up)

13 Dec 04 CAR @ TB L (Third road game in a row takes its toll)

14 Dec 11 ATL @ CAR W (A very fired up team upsets the Falcons to end a long losing skid)

15 Dec 18 CAR @ HOU W (Hard game to pick. I think they have a hard time in their first year of the 3-4 and we run over them.)

16 Dec 24 TB @ CAR W (I don't think TB is that good, no way they beat us twice, plus this is at home)

17 Jan 01 CAR @ NO L (Breesus is fighting for the playoffs, too much offense for our secondary)

Last updated: July 31, 2011

Results: 10-6 (3-3 in the division) wildcard possible

At least we don't play the Eagles this season.

Do not forget as well, our schedule is the toughest on paper in the NFL, opponent record is like 144-114 or something like that. But the teams have changed a lot from last season.

Regardless, win or lose, I am liking the direction the Panther's are headed.

4-12. Lockout and no OTA's really sets back the QB position. If we squeeze out 5 wins I'll be happy. Better days are ahead and I hope I am way wrong on this.

6-10 as things stand now. Maybe 8-8 or 9-7 if Cam has some success, and we sign a DT and CB. I don't know what player said it, but today on ESPN radio he said, "A lot of teams are passing more these days. You have to have as many defensive playmakers and DBs as you can." Sorry, Gamble/Cap'n/Martin/Godfrey aren't good enough.
