7-31 Camp Thread

Why do people think that speed = great runner.

NFL scouts thank you. Now they know that vision, strength, lateral quickness, etc. no longer matter. HEY just draft the RB with the best 40 time. Easy peasy.

Fact is that Cam has better vision than Vick, is just as good with his lateral movement, and is strong enough that he is going to be able to run through arm tackles.

But "never mind that show me his 40 time!!" says AL Davis

Exactly. That's why I found it so humorous when people said that Gabbert and Newton were similar in their ability to run based on 40 times.

There's a bit more to successful running than raw speed.

You are crazy if you think he has better vision and just as good lateral movement.

The only thing he has on Vick is size and when you are running the option that's not a good thing.

I forgot no one can be better at anything than Cam so I'll bow out now.
