Whats the big problem with having a dual threat QB. I mean Damn all people are not the same. Some people act like just because he is a dual threat means that he will never make the super bowl. like really you dont know that. So I give a big Fug you to all people who hate Dual threats and dont look at them as been a QB.

Exactly. People do not understand simple, finite logic. Here, let me help with what they're trying to do:

P1: Dual threat QBs have not worked out in the NFL.

P2: Cam Newton is a dual threat QB.

----

C: Cam Newton will not work out in the NFL.

Or some variation of that story. The problem is that the people saying this are not really defining premise 1 well. Why have dual threat QBs not worked out? Is it because they are dual threat QBs or is there some other variable that causes this? Personally, I think the idea that a QB can run like a running back and throw well is a sign that he cannot play in the NFL is stupid. That is what dual threat is. Steve Young can get pissed all he wants, he was a dual threat. Just as Michael Vick is. Just as McNabb used to be. Just as Culpepper used to be. And there are obviously others, as well as some like Elway who were mobile, not necessarily "dual threats." Varying degrees of dual threats exist. Being a dual threat does not mean fitting a specific speed of running or running ability. All it takes is being faster than the average QB with a solid arm. There aren't a lot of them, but there have been successful ones.

I want just one person to bring something to the table as to why Cam will DEFINITELY struggle, not just their BS opinion on the matter. They're entitled to their own opinion, as I am mine, but it does not mean that I cannot call their opinion unsubstantiated and ridiculous/ignorant (especially if I back it up, like I have in this post).
