He was healthy last year I think, it was the year before with us that he tore this achillies tendon.

If Kemo is healed up, cleared and passes a physical sign him. Keep his pay in check and he can just eat up the OL and allow the LB's do the damage.

Wouldn't mind bringing in Kemoeatu, decent enough to replace Edwards until he gets better and he has a great personality it seems (my father works security over at the stadium and loved the guy when he was there a few years back) and that could help with teaching the younger guys if needed.

wouldn't signing kemo and johnson be putting us back in exactly the same spot?

Naw it puts us in a worse spot. They're both older, slower, and weaker now than they were when we had them.

Yeah I tweeted Ma'ake last night! Told him we need him down here in Charlotte, and after reading some of his tweets I've discovered that he still keeps in touch with Beason and TD. Also him and Fua know each other pretty well. They actually use to workout together. It makes sense to me, if he's healthy. The Redskins got him for 1.5Mil last year. He's actually the same age as Edwards, and bigger.

Hollis Thomas was on roids when he was with us, so he's out the question.

Kemo was able to produce somewhat decent stats while he was here, the only other person on the roster who can say that is Nick Hayden, who doesn't share the experience Kemo has. Bringing back Kemo is a win-win situation if we get him for the right price, if he doesn't preform during the preseason he'll be cut.

Offering Pat Williams a decent price and seeing what would happen would be nice, he said he is looking to retire somewhere else and why not come to the Panthers who will be featuring an aggressive defense with a group of some of the best linebackers. Reason enough to take a pay cut playing off the rest of the guys Pat would have around him.
