"JAKE RELAX" sign

I saw it from across the stadium and thought it was a waste of a sign. Pretty stupid in my opinion. Why make a sign that may bother your QB when you can make a sign to insult the other team? :ihih:

..because we are a good enough team to render the other team's efforts irrelevant as long as Jake plays "relaxed" and does not try to win the game with one throw that sails out of bounds or in the arms of the opponent.

If Jake plays smart, we have a much better chance at a win. Fortunately, he is steadily looking more and more like a NFL QB over the last two weeks.

Hang it next week. I got a great pic of it when it was in the upper.

Exactly, how moronic to make a sign that adversely effects your own team. What an idiot...

I have never heard of a quarterback playing relaxed. If Jake is 'relaxed' then he would be getting himself or his wide receivers killed out there.

Because they'll kick you out...

..I got my first dose of the bs staff and policy that is at The Vault. After that no call fumble that we would have returned for a TD I yelled "Get some fuging eyes ref" and this douche w/ slicked back hair who worked there

    • he averaged 2 yards in YAC per reception last year.  He can't generate quick separation.  He was debating retirement last year.    Yet we championing him as some great option.  AT is a savvy vet we force feed the ball too......on a team starved for basic offense the last couple seasons.  We overrated AT.  Which is why some freak when people like JT on his podcast point out the painfully obvious about him.
    • The Athletic has us ranked 28th on their post-draft power rankings, mainly due to us picking T-Mc instead of defense in round 1. They recognize we needed WR help, but... https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6317651/2025/04/29/nfl-power-rankings-post-draft-rookies-eagles-chiefs-bills/
    • I mean, he is a slot technician.  That's what he does.  So, in a good offense, you would be trotting him out there on 3rd downs and situationally.....to not take what they give him but to move chains.  It's a niche.  AT hasn't threatened defenses in years.  Last time we saw Renfrow on the field he averaged..... 6 yards YAC per catch.  Adam Thielen last year averaged....2 yards in YAC per catch last year.  I still contend in reality, AT isn't a slot WR.  Not in reality.  He is an aging rec TE.  And those aren't the same thing.  AT simply can't generate quick separation or provide YAC.
