Updating an earlier tweet, I spoke with a reliable source that tells me the Panthers are NOT interested in trading for CB Asante Samuel.

We aren't getting Asante cause of this, so I think that means Cromartie is out too.

obviously we are going bargain bin for our CB option because we would have been making plays for some of these guys if we wanted them for the price they want by now..perhaps waiting til FA period is almost over and make a deal knowing the alternative is vet minimum..but I doubt we would get a worthy starting CB doing that.
