Corners that are left. Who will it be?

rather godfrey be the guy they move if it's anyone. thats his natural position and i've thought for a while that he would do well there.

Yeah, Godfrey played CB in college and Martin was a Safety (which seems to be the biggest reason Godfrey's name occasionally gets thrown out there for CB), but going into their respective drafts, Martin was said to have a CB's skill-set while Godfrey was more suited to Safety. And Martin was originally drafted to play corner, moving to Safety only due to injury. So I could see Rivera looking at tape and seeing Martin as a legitimate option at corner, and a better fit for what he wants to do here.

Pugh could be considered also, but I think Martin is better...just my opinion, though.

While on the topic of CBs. I have watched some WVA replayed games on ESPN, and we may just have us a player in Hogan. Not saying we should not go after a free agent because, eventually, we are going to need to replace Gamble (some say next year).

I am not holding my breath on Burney. He is smart and quick, but 4.72? Really? Heck, there are defensive ends who could outrun him. Our new 6' 5" 255 lb. white TE runs a 4.5! I hope he balls like nobody has ever before, but that is slow.

Martin started 37 games at free safety at Troy and 6 as the nickleback. 4.4 speed.

Godfrey played CB, but played free safety as a sophomore (ran a 4.38 at pro day, 4.45 other times)

Jordan Pugh:A three-year starter for the Aggies, he switched between safety and cornerback - ran a 4.48-second 40-yard dash and leaping 40.5 in the vertical jump.

Anyone read this already? I wonder who the sources are? Samuels agent hasn't even been notified yet. Wtf? I wonder if this is true, if Hurney pulls off another "Dat deal" with the eagles, I'll cream my pants.

I was just about to post that article. I just don't know what we have to offer for Samuels
