rather godfrey be the guy they move if it's anyone. thats his natural position and i've thought for a while that he would do well there.

I thought Godfrey at first, but I think Martin is faster (40 time only) and also played some CB. Either one may work--maybe they are looking at both there. Heck, I think Pugh played CB his junior year at Texas AM. We drafted bigger CBs to play S, basically knowing (in the old d) they would play 2 deep. In the J Johnson 4-3, the SS has a big role and, obviously, a different role than the FS. I wonder if that is what they are doing--seeing what they have before diving into free agency.

Martin was a CB in college and was drafted as a CB, moved to FS under the direction of Ron Meeks. Or atleast that's how I remembered it.

It won't be Cromartie because the Jets will now try everything to get him back, and Chris Carr signed.

I would be fine with Chris Houston because he still is young and has growing room.

Clements and Rogers would probably just be stop gaps for two or three years.

It woudn't make sense to put Martin or Godfrey at CB now, it's to late they are safety's and there's nothing you can do about it. Plus I don't think the Panthers would have drafted Hogan if they planned on converting a safety to cornerback.

Looked like Terence Newman would get cut if the Cowboys got Aso. Wouldn't have minded getting him.

Been a fan of Hayden since his first contract ran out. If he can get his health under control he'd be an excellent addition here, plus he's under 30.
