Damn, why are all ya'll sweating what the FO is doing, is not this off-season evidence that we're addressing needs and improving the team. Be patient sit back and watch the dominoes fall.

We need to make a move on a CB...As others have said, I'm just reiterating it.

Every year it seems like we ignore one major position of need.... I hope we dont do it again..

Carr, Washington, Rodgers....all reasonably priced talented guys who can come in and make an impact.

What the bloody hell are you talking about?

On to the topic at hand, I'd prefer Cromartie (based on age and familiarity with Rivera) but I'd be ok with Rogers or Carr. HELL no to Clements, he's never even been average. Subpar CB. No thanks to Houston either.

I have a feeling we wont address cb. We did fine this year
except that we don't have our #2 CB anymore...at least not under contract. he's essentially gone. he and the club are moving on from each other. we have to have someone take his place. it needs to be someone that can handle the slot. we won't be fine without that.

Have you considered Sherrod Martin? Rivera has been adding players who are true SS candidates. I wonder if Martin isn't our next CB.
rather godfrey be the guy they move if it's anyone. thats his natural position and i've thought for a while that he would do well there.

If they take that mentality then the good ones are going to be snatched up before we even contact them
that's the issue i have with people bringing up the aug. 4 date. you want to be in charge of your prospect list shrinking. you don't want it to happen because others have taken the best ones available.

of course we don't know who is going to become available the next few days. very good players can easily become cap casualties.

i want samuel the most. afraid of what it will cost personnel-wise, tho.

chris carr would have been great for taking care of the slot. oh well.

starting to lose interest in nate clements.

carlos rodgers would be little more than a stop gap.

cromartie is easily the most attractive of the FAs, but i have a feeling that he'll either go back to jets or to dallas.

gotta say i'm getting a little nervous here.
