Reports already saying Asante Samuel available for trade, should we go get?

Earlier I suggested Connor and a 2nd for Asante and a 3rd.

please no at that deal

I'd rather take my chances next year on a corner in the 2nd round

I just want a draft where we have our top 2 picks. you just never know how bad we're going to do next season.

I read somewhere earlier today that the eagles are actively looking for an MLB, and the panther's likely offered Dan Connor in the deal for Greg Olsen. Dan Connor and a 2nd for Asante Samuel and 3rd? Anyone?

no thanks.

Asante is better than anyone we would draft in the mid/late second round. Plus all we are doing is trading down a round, we would get a 3rd back from them.

Let's say we end up picking top 10(very possible), we give up a top 40 pick for a 30 year old corner back.

pass on that.

Asante is better than all of them...

Chris Carr is overrated, he just benefited from being on a sick def.

Antonio Cromartie had a ton of potential, but never really developed into the CB he could have been, has flashy plays every now and then, but gets beat a lot.

Wouldnt mind Carlos Rodgers and Clements for the right price, Carlos Rodgers has always been solid. And Clements had a good year last year and would like to have him, I just think he would likely ask for more than he is actually worth.

Corners are usually in the prime in their late 20's and early 30's. I mean even look at Charles Woodson, 34 and still considered one of the best CB's in the league.

David Gettis had 37 receptions for 508 yards and 3 touchdowns as a rookie last year. 8 receptions for 125 yards and 2 of those touchdowns came from Nate Clements. In fact, I think he may still be recovering from Gettis breaking his ankle. Twice. No thanks.
