We are good at guard and safety.

Godfrey, Martin, Considine, Pugh, and Martin are all solid.

At the guard position we have Gross, Wharton, Schwartz, Bernadeau, and Robinson. That is a solid guard corp.

But I do agree with DT, DE, CB, QB, and somewhat on WR.

Carlos Rogers, Antonio Cromartie, Chris Carr, Chris Houston, Fabian Washington, Nate Clements. Prefer Carr, Rogers, or Cromartie from this bunch.

DT Options:

Mike Patterson, DT, Eagles. Age: 28.

Aubrayo Franklin, NT, 49ers. Age: 31.

Ty Warren, DE/DT, Patriots. Age: 30

Cullen Jenkins, DE/DT, Packers. Age: 30.

Tommie Harris, DT, Bears. Age: 28.

Out of these, I'd prefer Mike Patterson, Aubrayo Franklin, Tommie Harris.

DE Options:

Jamaal Anderson, DE/DT, Falcons. Age: 25.

Andre Carter, DE, Redskins. Age: 32.

Antwan Odom, DE, Bengals. Age: 29.

Prefer Anderson out of these.Odom , we'd be able to sign him cheap, he's a decent guy, when healthy of course.

QB Options:

Derek Anderson, QB, Cardinals. Age: 28.

Marc Bulger, QB, Ravens. Age: 35.

Billy Volek, QB, Chargers. Age: 35.

we'd have to trade for a DE if we want one right away (which might not be the case). not liking the FA choices. we're better off waiting to see what comes through cuts otherwise. no rush there. not a huge priority at this point other than just finding camp bodies.

@ DT...there are a couple guys, but they are probably not going to rush out to find one. they might want to see what they have on the roster already. i could see mike patterson coming due to experience with the system.

@ CB we probably have the biggest and most urgent need. still a few good choices out there in FA i wouldn't mind. i don't really want to trade for anyone. no sense in it at this point.

vet QB will probably be on the list of people to look at. doubt there will be much of a rush on that, though. they'll probably want to see what they have in cam and clausen at camp before they go out and bring someone else in. if they are on track and where they should be then what they need in a vet QB will be different than if one or both are behind.

RG is the last thing i see us needing, but it's another thing that they will want to see what they've got on the roster before they go out shopping. who know? maybe schwartz is the guy they need at RG. i hope so.

i think we're fine everywhere else.
