Tweets get quoted here on a nightly bases and I've yet to see one say that Cam is overall better than Jimmy yet I can find you multiple sources, such as the one I quoted for you yesterday, that say the opposite.

Not to mention, if it is writters doing these tweets, I'm sure they are actually writing about it somewhere so finding an article that says "overall Cam is by far the better QB at this time"

Besides I thought they practiced in the gym yesterday?! I had practice so I wasn't able to keep up with it but I thought it was storming or something

Yes CRA i get that but again, wasn't it storming yesterday so they practiced inside? As in a walk through instead of a real practice? So really how can you tell anything that way? Cam looks better when no one is in front of him or trying to hit him? I can agree with that, he does really well when there is no D in front of him, put a line in front of him and that all changes, drastically!

Reed was answering the question of which QB up until now has looked the best. The answer was a no brainer.......

Cam and Jimmy are probably overall equal if you had to give them a letter grade...but doing different things to earn that grade. As fan fest showed, what Cam does actually fits the offense so that is gonna easily bump his performances ahead of Clausen.

The "Definately" clearly implies it was a no brainer for him.

I don't know how good Cam will be....or even if he will be good. Realistcally he would have to epically awful not to be an improvement from Jimmy....so odds are just stacked in his favor to be better.

Considering Cam is only a week into this thing and has already been leaving so many like Rivera saying "wow"......it might be a fun season and nothing like last year.

Let's be fair, a lot of these so called analysts are over-critiquing Cam simply because he was drafted first and they didn't feel he should have been. So it's hard to really gauge if their view is openminded or scewed to justify their feels. Unfortunately, I have to be a little cynical when it comes to our sports media. Especially reading some of their reviews in regard to the QB who they felt should have gone #1..hmmmm

IMO based on what I've seen, both Cam and Jimmy have their weaknesses and strenghts and would make for a great tamdem team if such a thing was allowed in the NFL. But I will give the edge to Cam because it is his first season as a pro and his weaknesses are fixable. As I stated before, you can't teach confidence and Cam has a lot of that. And, you can only work with what an athlete brings to the table.

From my 1 practice at Spartanburg and fanfest to me both QB's look OK in what they do. Jimmy is the same QB as last year however the ball comes out quicker(which is a good thing). However if we are going to get 8-10 out of the box then we need the ability to stretch the field and Jimmy doesn't give us that. Plus his body language kills me.

Cam's accuracy isn't pinpoint. Hell you could probably count on one hand the actual pinpoint accuracy QB's in the NFL. However he is not inaccurate(especially when his mechanics are good), and his athletic ability and size are tremendous. Also Cam throws the deep ball very well and just having that threat is enough to keep defenses respectful. Add to the fact that he can run the ball, you have to account for him. Throw in Steve Smith moving all over the field, Olsen and shockey, and Double Trouble plus goodsen how do you defend all of it?

Basically what Cam lacks in experience he makes up for with dynamic play ability. Putting Jimmy out there would suck the life our of both our team and our fan base.

I believe you are all wrong. You say Jimmy will be the starter because he looks better the Cam? I’m starting to believe you guys are getting paid on the low, by Jimmy. LOl! Everybody that can see knows that Cam has a stronger arm, and make great decision, but you are willing to put a QB in the game that do not have NFL arm strength. Wow! All Jimmy does is check down. Not taking anything from Jimmy, but Mel K hype Jimmy up and it shows when he is on the field. He looks like a High school QB serious. And he is the one you all want to start. I’m so happy you guys are not calling the shots. Cam show better poised in the pocket, and he can see over the pocket as well. How many TD did Jimmy throw at Fan Fest? Cam had more than two. All standing in the pocket taking on pressure, and the ball was out of his hands less than 3 seconds.

Jimmy Clausen was praised for having a good practice by coach Ron Rivera. He said Newton did some good things but needs to be more consistent. He said the team will work to tweak Newton’s mechanics.

Come on man, seriously you point out every single bad thing that is said about the guy but yet post nothing at all bad about Cam? Could you please at least try not looking so hommerish?
