In addition, the Panthers signed North Carolina cornerback Kendric Burney, a native of Jacksonville, N.C. In four seasons with the Tar Heels, he recorded 11 interceptions and totaled 358 interception return yards, which rank second in Atlantic Coast Conference history.

Used to play that kid in baseball...flat out athlete.

Jumped up and robbed me of a dead centerfield home run at Hickory Crawdads field when I was 16... still not over it as you can tell =P

Glad to see sign w/ the Panthers... was hoping we spent our last draft pick on him. But this works out much better...

Burney is going to be a great CB and we will keep him around. He is a amazing CB. Before his suspension he looked like a 1st round draft pick. This was a steal along with Greg Olson. We have the most potential on our team to make some noise once the season starts. I cant fuggin wait.
