Honestly, I think that Stewart is a significantly stronger (literally and figuratively) and better runner than Forte---much better. The ONLY thing that keeps the two in the same conversation is playing time, first and foremost, and, secondly, Forte's ability to catch.

If I had to bet, I would say that Stewart will last longer than Forte, and ulitmately will have a more glorious career.

Stewart splits carries with another one of the best RB in the NFL and still puts up big numbers.

Forte is good but he's really a push between either Stew or D-Wil alone, but together and with Goodson/Sutton the group of them just make our backfield better than yours. The reality is that you need more than one quality back in this league or you'll wear the treads off of your star runner far too quickly.

Forte plays in an offense geared around a running back catching the ball out of the backfield. John Fox's chosen OCs have never exactly been famous for that. Despite this, Stew is averaging only .2 yards less per reception than Forte, and D-Will is just under a yard less. Of course, if you look at their rushing statistics they blow the living poo out of Forte's on a per carry basis while splitting carries with each other and Goodson/Sutton, but again, totally different offenses.

Ultimately all three of those players are absolutely amazing backs, but the depth of the Panthers is what puts them ahead of the Bears when it comes to the RB position.

edit: for that matter we have the best RB corps in the NFL... there are better single backs but nobody has the depth we do imo.

Jimmy Graham is really good, no doubt, but sorry to say it, but guys like Gates, Gonzalez, Kellen Winslow Jr, Chris Cooley, Jason Witten, Vernon Davis in my book are all better than Graham. they have been in the league for years and all are just as much of nightmares to matchup with as Graham is.
