Anybody breaking news as it happens is bound to gets parts of the story wrong because he's reporting it as almost as it's happening. Even if he's not legit it's still entertaining as hell and better than what most of the local guys are feeding us with the exception of Steve Reed.

The people that get me laughing the most are the ones who take it the most serious on both sides.

On Olsen. Awesome trade. Guess Hurney's in the pent house again with fans. Shockey was a one year stop gap. They were most likely just hoping he could be a bridge until we got our future TE star in the draft or trade. I never expected it to be this soon. Wow. In this offense he's going to be the best TE we've ever had.

1) Luck shafted us and we about drafted Marcel Dareus (Got Cam Newton)

2) We heard Steve Smith was going to demand a trade(Now hes wants to be a Panther for life)

3) We heard DWill might take his talents to South Beach(Now hes staying and wants to retire a Panther)

4) We all thought there would be no season(there will be)

5) We all called JR cheap(Hes re-signed basically everybody)

6) We all heard CJ might go to ATL (he came back)

7) We were lacking a TE for YEARS(now we have Shockey and Olsen)

I can go on and on. What a turn of events. Feels AWESOME to be a Panther fan again. I tell you what. The players last season that return are going to be out to prove that this team was FAR better than a 2 win team. Even the guys coming from other teams will want to prove the same thing. Players went from wanting to leave to now wanting to stay til they retire and on top of everything - Cam has brought this team a new SCHWAGGG.

While they didn't get the better end of the deal, it wasn't all that bad for them.

Olsen was in the final year of his contract, he is pretty much a lame duck in Martz's system. So they had this year to get rid of him for something or let him walk for nothing. While it is never good to lose a #1 draft pick that is actually a top talent at his position, at least they did walk away with something.
